Outlook Web App 2010 - The server functioning timed out. Delight try again later
A large number of our staff have been experiencing the error below (run across screenshot)http://i52.tinypic.com/2mc8saa.jpg and http://i55.tinypic.com/28hopl4.jpg
for over a week at present and I seem to be getting no where in terms of fixing it. Things i've tried:
Resetting the OWA VD
Ensuring clients are up to appointment with Windows Updates
Uninstalled Sophos (as a temp measure to see if that is contributing to it)I've spotted this error in eventvwr on the CAS server, but not really certain if information technology's related or not equally there are not too many of them.
Watson report about to be sent for process id: 8716, with parameters: E12, c-RTL-AMD64, 14.01.0218.015, OWA, unknown, unknown, System.InvalidOperationException, 0, unknown.
ErrorReportingEnabled: TrueDoes everyone have whatever ideas about what might exist causing this or any suggestions for troubleshooting?
We are using Exchange 2010 SP1 RU3.

Hi AdamLooking at the errors, I firstly only want to confirm, are you having problems with accessing OWA?
If yes, is OWA published externally? Or only internal?
Cheers
Sukh

No... I don't have any issues accessing OWA, they only occur when logged in.

Once the user is logged in, what deportment practice they have to pass the errors?
After the deportment taken, do they have access to their mailbox via OWA?
Practice you come across whatsoever errors on your CAS Server under the Event Logs?
Are there any errors on the PC where y'all launch OWA from under the Event Logs?
If you pick a problematic user, does the issue follow them on every PC they use?
Does the issue occur only on certain PC'south? Thanks
Sukh

The actions the users take tend to be opening an e-post in a new windows, running a spell check against an email. Once this happens they more often than not do even so have access to their mailbox.Originally Posted by sukh
There is no ovbious errors on the CAS server and I haven't seen an errors on the client that OWA is being accessed from.
The problem does seem to follow users and isn't occuring on particular PCs equally far every bit I can tell.

If yous create a new user with out whatsoever windows contour and test OWA on a PC, exercise you nevertheless become the result?

Don't know, not tried that. Do you think it could be profile related?

Have you performed an IISrest /noforce on the CAS?
How many CAS servers do you have?
14th March 2011,07:40 PM #11
Yes i've done a iisreset /noforce becuase its the concluding step when resetting the OWA virtual directory. We take two CAS servers although at the moment only 1 is used to publish OWA. The intention is to load residue at a later stage.

If your 2nd CAS server isn't being used still, (I dont know the specifics of your deployment), tin can yous bespeak to the 2nd CAS and endeavour that. Not sure if you have a DNS Alias for your CAS server OWA URL or not? If you have change this.
If not, the use set-casmailbox for a specifc user to the 2nd CAS and examination.
Let me know.
Thanks
